About HEU KMS
KMS (Key Management Service) is a Microsoft enterprise activation service designed for Windows and Office. It allows you to activate products within the local network. HEU KMS Activator uses a built-in KMS server, which makes the Windows and Office activation process as simple and accessible as possible.

The probability of successful activation using HEU KMS Activator is extremely high, and the speed of the process is pleasantly surprising. The program is compatible with almost all VL (Volume License) products that use corporate authorization.
For products that are not directly supported, manual activation is provided by configuring the built-in KMS server.
HEU KMS Activator also allows you to create backup copies of activation data for Windows and Office. This is especially useful when reinstalling the system or software, as activation can be easily restored.
There are five icons in the upper-right corner of the program’s interface, each of which is responsible for a specific function:
- Changing the background color;
- Background image replacement;
- Switching between the classic interface and the modern one, changing the language and activation scheme;
- Curtailing the program;
- Closing the application.
The buttons of frequently used functions are highlighted with orange icons. To get a quick reference, just hover the mouse cursor over the desired button — the description will appear automatically.
The additional function buttons are marked with grey icons. Before using them, it is recommended that you carefully read the “User’s Guide” to avoid mistakes.
Important note: Starting with version v21.0.0, two activation schemes have been added to increase the probability of successful activation. The default is Scheme 1. If it does not work, you can switch to Scheme 2.
Updates to HEU KMS Activator
Based on user feedback and previous versions of the program, the developers have fixed the known issues.:
- Fixed Incorrect OEM ID recognition when OEM is activated.
- Fixed OEM activation error for Server 2012 R2/2016/2019 in Boost mode 7.
- Fixed an error related to the creation of the folder $OEM$.
- Fixed an issue that prevented digital signatures from being activated during system deployment.
- The “smart activation” function has been optimized.
- Added ARM64 support.
- Extended silent mode settings (/kd1, /kd2) to configure the KMS activation mode.
These improvements make the program more stable and user-friendly, ensuring a high probability of successful activation.
Reasons for activation failure
According to user reviews, the main reason for unsuccessful activation via KMS is the use of different versions of activation programs or the activation of the auto-renewal function. Since information about KMS (for example, registry entries, services, and residual files) is stored in the system, this may prevent successful activation.
How to solve the problem:
Use the original software to completely clear the remaining KMS from the system, and then try activation again.
HEU KMS Activator automatically deletes all files and residual information remaining in the system after use (with the exception of the automatic update function). In addition, the program itself can be easily deleted after completion.
Additional program functions
HEU KMS Activator has many functions. If you are not familiar with their purpose, it is recommended to refer to the instructions (the description was provided earlier).
The easiest way to activate:
Click “Intelligent Activation” (orange icon) on the main program page. It will automatically determine the appropriate activation method for your system.
- When Office is activated, the retail version will be automatically converted to the VL (Volume License) version.
- If Windows or Office have already been permanently activated, the program will not change their status and will not disrupt their permanent activation.
